North UMC offers weekly Sunday school classes and regular Bible studies and book studies. At North there is a place for everyone to belong and grow more deeply in their relationship with God.

Three adult Sunday school classes meet from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.:

Power and Light: This group is a welcoming, diverse group united in fellowship, social service, and personal support in the mutual pursuit of spiritual growth.

Sojourners: This group engages in a variety of studies ranging from traditional Bible studies to exploring contemporary works in relationship to the church. Its members also serve together in various projects.

Sophia’s Class: Sophia’s Class is a study group for women of any age who would like to be part of a group of sisters in Christ.

Studying the Bible is one of the most important disciplines of the Christian life. Short-term Bible study and book study groups meet at varies times throughout the year. More information on them is available in the spring or fall event books, which can be downloaded from this website’s “Events” section.

Young Adults

North Church’s young adults’ ministry is for those age 18-35 who are no longer in high school. These fellowship events focus on establishing and developing friendships between those in this diverse age group, which consists of individuals going through many different life experiences such as college, graduate school and/or the work force; military service and/or training; are single, dating and/or married, and are living with family and/or renting or owning their own places. For more information contact Brandon Wallace, our minister of Christian education.
