Worship is at the heart of our life together. Sunday morning services richly honor the Christian past, yet seek to speak to our lives today by applying the meaning of Scripture in practical and helpful ways for abundant living. The Methodist tradition is known for an emphasis on personal faith, lived out in compassionate and socially conscious ways. It is well-informed preaching and inspired worship that feeds our hearts and minds. Whether it is worshiping with us on Sunday mornings or through our many ministries, North provides a variety of opportunities for you to worship and grow your faith practices.
Music is a vital element to our worship, and the musicians of North delight in offering their gifts of music to assist in and enrich our corporate worship. Music elements in worship range from hymn-singing to simple chants to the presentation of special music. Styles of music range from contemporary compositions to classical selections, original pieces to global sounds. We select a variety of music to inspire the listener and performer spiritually and culturally. Whether with voice or instrument, we strive to make a joyful sound to the Lord as we offer our prayers, time, and talents for worship. Click here to learn more about our music ministry.
There are many people involved in making worship a special time for all of us, including the Sanctuary and Church Visual Arts Teams, Communion Stewards, Liturgists, Ushers, Acolytes, and Audio Team.
