11am: Nature Walk for kids, youth and adults beginning in Shelter A.
12pm: Event “officially” begins with a brown bag lunch in shelter. Bring your own lunch (including drink). We will have water coolers at the shelter all day. If you would like to come early, feel free to do so. You can canoe/kayak/swim/hike ahead of lunch.
There are 2 sessions of activities, each one has a outdoor (not under the shelter) event and a shelter event.
1-2:15pm: Session 1 Shelter: Board & Indoor Games Yard: Large Group Games- Kickball, Parachute, Frisbee, Paper Airplane Contest (Miss Amy approved…)
2:30-3:45pm: Session 2 Shelter: Talent Show & Karaoke Yard: Yard Games-Kubb, Dominoes, Yatzee, Corn Hole, Hillbilly Golf. In the shelter there will be crayons, markers, colored pencils, paper, coloring sheets, etc.
4pm: Worship Service: Perry Kea will give a devotion. Lots of music and singing.
5pm: Cookout: All is provided. Hamburgers & hot dogs, cole slaw, chips, drinks and a dessert.
Event is officially over after dinner and clean up, but people can stay and do other things if they want.
Please wear your North T-Shirt.
A little bit about Shelter A- There are bathrooms conveniently attached to the shelter as well as a water source and electricity. This shelter is handicap accessible.
