Bread and Bowl is a soup kitchen that feeds 100 to 300 individuals each week. Visitors may receive a hot meal in addition to taking home bags that include soup, salad, bread, and dessert. This ministry is supported in part through a partnership with Second Helpings, Inc., which provides hot meals and a culinary school for people living at or below the poverty line.
In 2011 Bread & Bowl became a training ground for high school students. Students continue to learn food service skills before transitioning into the workforce. Aside from major holidays, Bread and Bowl is open each Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday between 11 a.m. and noon.

Mid-North Food Pantry
North is one of 10 congregations and non-profit agencies that support Marion County’s second largest food pantry. During the months of January and June we collect nonperishable food items and toiletries for the pantry, which is located at 3333 N. Meridian Street. The pantry is open every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and every third Sunday from 1:15 – 3 p.m.
