North’s Justice and Advocacy team is hosting a viewing of the movie 13th followed by a discussion of faith & social justice. The documentary 13th gets its name from the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery except as a punishment for crime. The documentary analyzes the depth of that exception and the problems & injustices of the United States’ criminal justice system.
